PADI Assistant Instructor Course (3 days – 2 weeks+)
This course is the first part of the PADI IDC (Instructor Development Course). During this course you will further your knowledge development with self-study, quizzes, lectures and presentations. You will learn about teaching in confined water and conduct open water training dives.
Once qualified as a PADI Assistant Instructor, you will be able to :
• teach academic presentations under the supervision of a PADI Instructor
• evaluate Open Water Diver surface skills under the supervision of a PADI Instructor
• teach PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course
• teach Project AWARE Specialty courses
• Conduct PADI Discover Scuba Diving
Prerequisites :
• PADI Divemaster Licence (or equivalent)
• Min age 18 years old +
• At least 60 logged dives incl. deep, night & navigation dives
• Be a certified diver for a min. of 6 months
