Some 30 km south of the port town of Nuweiba lies the dive site of Ras Mamlach , which falls within the Managed Resource protected area of Ras Abu Galum.  The reef starts at about 12 metres with a pretty coral garden leading to a steep wall.  You will see fan and table corals here.  Look out into the blue and you can expect to see schools of Barracuda and Jackfish, amongst others.
